We started with a simple idea
We work with the underprivileged children of the squatting populations in various urban slums, located along the railway platforms of Kalighat to Budge Budge. We strive to provide effective education and ensure their freedom.
Our organisation aims at eradicating threats of impoverishment among the unfortunate, who are driven to settle in slums and lead an ignoble life by socio-economic compulsions.
Edify Foundation is a registered society vide Registration No. – S/IL/42638 of 2006-07. Our society under section 12(A) and grant of Income tax exemtion under section 80(G).
We set high goals and then we work hard to chase them. Year-on-year, we improve the quality of our work which makes a direct impact on the lives of lakhs of children every year.
